Howard Schubiner, M.D. is an internist and both the founder and director of the Mind Body Medicine Center at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Schubiner is a clinical professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and is an expert in the mind-body connection, as it relates to one’s health.

In this episode of The Seattle Psychiatrist - Interview Series, Nicole Izquierdo and Howard Schubiner, M.D. discuss: the mind-body connection and how our brains induce pain signals, anxiety, depression and fatigue in an effort to alert and protect us.
